In the summer, average daytime temperatures range from the mid-70s to the mid-80s with an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. The lower elevations of Avon make them warmer than the cool, alpine climate of Wildridge.

Avon & Wildridge have a little over 6,500 year-round residents.
AMENITIES:
Avon is a quant town in the center of the Vail Valley. Nottingham Park is in the heart of the town featuring running paths, sand volleyball courts, BBQ pits, and a recreational lake where you can paddle boat or board at your leisure. Avon also has an extensive fitness center featuring a swimming pool and gym, as well as providing excellent fitness classes. Avon is also home to many shopping centers where you can find all of your essentials such as City Market, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot©. A new development is the beautiful Westin Hotel which provides a complementary gondola from Avon Center up to the Beaver Creek Landing – giving residents easy lift access in the winters.
TRANSPORTATION:
Avon Station is a fantastic transit hub with connections to Vail, Beaver Creek, Eagle, Gypsum, Dotsero, Leadville, and Minturn.
